Job offers

Our team is a diverse group of scientists driven by curiosity in 3D bioprinting, biofabrication, materials engineering, stem cells, vascular engineering, molecular biology, and microfluidics. We aim to explore how biomaterials influence cell fate. We’re looking for dedicated and enthusiastic researchers from a wide range of scientific, cultural, and personal backgrounds who share our love for teaching, learning, and collaborating in a friendly, yet ambitious environment. We have fully funded positions available at all levels.

Postdoctoral Researchers

We are looking for motivated and creative postdoctoral researchers who share our passion for 3D bioprinting, biomaterials engineering, and stem cell-based tissue models.
Postdocs in our group have the opportunity to lead ongoing projects or initiate independent research directions within our core areas of expertise. All positions are fully funded.

Currently available positions:

SONATA (NCN) – 2 positions:

  • 🧬 Postdoc BiologistEURAXESS
  • ⚗️ Postdoc Chemist – candidates with experience in chemical modification of biomaterials, material characterization, and bioprinting. Will be announced soon, with a starting date ASAP.

OPUS LAP (NCN) – 1 position:

  • 💊 Postdoc in biomaterials and biofabrication – candidates with experience in biomaterial modification, drug-releasing systems, bioprinting, and perfusion technologies.
Previous posting: EURAXESS listing (no candidate was selected; new announcement coming soon).
Expected starting date: January 8, 2026.

If you are interested, please send your CV, a short cover letter (2–3 paragraphs describing your research background and motivation) to jagoda.litowczenko@amu.edu.pl.

Contractors

We are also looking for contractors (Co-Investigators / Contractors) in our ongoing projects — particularly chemists, physicists, and biologists from Adam Mickiewicz University who are interested in contributing to current research activities. These are civil-law contracts (umowy cywilnoprawne) designed for short- or mid-term project tasks related to biomaterials development, biofabrication, and stem-cell-based research. If you are interested in joining our efforts, please get in touch at jagoda.litowczenko@amu.edu.pl

Ph.D. Candidates

We are looking for motivated Ph.D. candidates to join our interdisciplinary team at the Center for Advanced Technologies, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.
Our group combines biomaterials design, stem cell biology, and advanced biofabrication techniques to develop next-generation tissue-engineered constructs.

Currently open positions:

  • 🎓 3 fully funded Ph.D. scholarships linked to the Sonata and Opus Lap research projects:
    • 1 Ph.D. position in Natural Sciences: Apply here
    • 2 Ph.D. positions in Chemical (Exact) Sciences and Natural Sciences: announcement coming soon (starting date: January 8, 2026)
  • 🧫 2 Ph.D. positions associated with the First Team FENG project,
offering an additional stipend on top of the standard AMU doctoral scholarship.
Admission to the AMU Doctoral School is required.

If you are passionate about biofabrication, hydrogel design, stem cell-derived tissue models, and perfusable 3D systems, we would love to hear from you!

Students and Interns

We welcome students who are accepted or interested in Bachelor’s, Master’s at Adam Mickiewicz University, or internship programs and are eager to learn about 3D bioprinting, polymers, hydrogels, characterization, and human-induced stem cell culture and differentiation. We offer scholarships of 1,500 PLN per month for 12 months to the top two candidates.

Collaborators

We are seeking a new team member with a strong background in materials chemistry to help us develop innovative hydrogels for bioprinting, 3D culture, iPSC-scale up and advanced perfusion systems.

We are also on the lookout for bioprinting labs interested in testing these new formulations. If you’re a researcher passionate about tissue engineering, let’s connect!
